ITHACA, N.Y. – The Wilkes University men's tennis team traveled north to face regional power Ithaca College where the Colonels fell 9-0 against the Bombers Saturday afternoon in a non-conference match.
 
Wilkes saw its overall record move to 1-1 overall following the road defeat.
 
Ithaca swept all three doubles flights by scores of 8-1 at No. 1, 8-0 at No. 2 and 8-3 at No. 3. The Bombers then recorded straight-set wins in all six singles flights on way to the sweep.
 
The Colonels return home next Saturday to TK Academy to welcome Lebanon Valley College for a match scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
