Wilkes Women's Tennis Splits Matches on Spring Break Trip
CHESTERTOWN, MD – The Wilkes University women's tennis team splits a pair of matches on its 2022 spring break trip on Saturday afternoon. The Colonels fell 6-3 in their first match of the day to host Washington College before sweeping Stevenson University 9-0 to finish the trip.
Wilkes moved its overall record to 3-2 overall following the split.
In the match against Stevenson, Wilkes swept all three doubles flights by scores of 8-2 at No. 1, 8-2 at No. 2 and 8-1 at No. 3.

Alexa Cieri (Matawan, NJ/St. John Vianney),
Zoe Klein (Southbury, CT/Pomperaug),
Abby Bielecki (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) and
Sydney Farmer (Lacey Township, NJ/Lacey Township) were all singles winners for Wilkes from No.1 through No. 6 respectively.
Wilkes remains idle through the rest of spring break before returning to action Saturday, March 26 with a match at Muhlenberg College starting at 10:00 a.m.
