WILKES-BARRE -- After having to cancel the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Wilkes University women's soccer head coach John McNichol has announced the program will be hosting its 14^th annual Futsal Tournament.
 
The tournament will take place Sunday, February 5, 2023. Futsal is a five-on-five game on a small court with a smaller ball that does not bounce the same way as a regular ball. Futsal is a fast-paced game, which allows for many touches on the ball and is great for technical development for players of all ages.
 
The tournament will kick off at 9:00 a.m. It will be held at the McHale Athletic Center, with the cost of the tournament at $200 per team.
