LA PLUME, PA - The Wilkes men's soccer team fought to a 0-0 draw on the road at Keystone College on Wednesday night, their first draw of the season.

The result moves the Colonels to 1-2-1 on the year, with Keystone moving to 0-3-1.

The Colonels dominated the offensive chances in the first half, peppering the Keystone net with 11 shots but only three on target. Colin Schulmeister (Old Saybrook, CT/Old Saybrook) and Herbert Ramirez (Highstown, NJ/Highstown) led the team with three shots and one on goal each through 45 minutes of play. On the other side of the pitch the defense held solid, holding the Giants to only two shots with one on target.

The second half was more evenly contested, as Keystone's defense held the Colonels to only five shots in the second half while registering five shots of their own on the offensive end. Nick Kinzler (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial) made four saves in the second half for the Colonels, including two in the 88th minute to keep the game scoreless.
