Wilkes Women's Volleyball Drop Road Contest at Moravian 

BETHLEHEM, PA - The Wilkes women's volleyball team fell to Moravian 3-0 in a Tuesday night matchup.

Moravian won the three sets with scores of 25-22, 25-11 and 25-20. For Wilkes, Sierra Hines (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Holy Redeemer) led the team in kills with 10 followed by Ally Sheridan (Hanover Township, PA/Hanover Area) with six. Alexa Cassel (Mount Joy, PA/Lower Dauphin) led in assists with 21 and Annalyse Santowasso (Middlesex, NJ/Rutgers Prep) recorded nine digs throughout the match while Cassel had seven. 

In total, the Colonels recorded 26 kills and assists, seven service aces, 32 digs and three blocks. Wilkes tallied the most kills in the first set with 12 and recorded their highest number of total attacks in the third set at 30.

The Colonels will be back home this Friday, October 18, for a 7 p.m. match against Lycoming for their Dig Pink Night.
