Wilkes Women's Ice Hockey Bested in Overtime by Lebanon Valley College
HERSHEY, Pa. – The Wilkes University women's ice hockey team were bested at Hersheypark Arena on Friday night, losing in overtime to Lebanon Valley College 2-1.
Wilkes falls to 3-2 on the year with the loss and 2-1 in MAC play, while Lebanon Valley remains undefeated at 4-0 and 3-0 in conference play.
The Colonels peppered the Lebanon Valley net in the first period, forcing 15 saves out of the home goaltender Mia Frisoni, but could not find the breakthrough in the first 20 minutes. The offensive onslaught continued into the second period, with
Jordan Ferry (Bohemia, NY) finally finding the back of the net off the assist from
Renee Ng (Hong Kong, China/Mount Academy) at 13:56.
Wilkes held the lead into the third period, but at 12:02 the Dutchmen found the equalizer through Anna Dale to force overtime. Less than a minute into the extra period, the hosts found the back of the net and took the victory thanks to Dale once again.

Audrey Milne (London, ON) made 16 saves on the evening.
Dale led the way for the hosts with four total shots and both goals. In net, Frisoni made 46 saves in the victory.
