Hannah Franz (North Bay, ON). On the other end of the ice, the Wilkes defense held the Blazers to only three shots in the second frame.
Wilkes ended the second period on the power play and converted it into a goal just 33 seconds into the final period as Ng found the back of the net on assists from
Iida Laitinen (Jyväskylä, Finland) and
Amanda Spreadbury (Suwanee, GA). Ferry found her second goal of the day at 14:15 on an assist from Hudáková, who scored three minutes later with a top corner snipe to put the final nail in the coffin for Hood 7-1.
Ferry and Hudáková led the team with two goals each, joining
Lily Zingaro (Collingwood, ON) as the three Colonels that finished the day +4. Ferry led the team with nine shots, followed closely by Bouchard with eight, while
