Wilkes Men's Tennis Falls 9-0 Against Lafayette
KINGSTON, PA – The Wilkes University men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Division I Lafayette College Saturday afternoon at TK Academy.
Wilkes dropped to 2-2 in dual matches on the season following the defeat.
Lafayette opened with three wins in doubles play winning by scores of 8-1, 8-1, 8-3 respectively.
The Leopards then swept all six singles flights in straight sets including the final four in an eight-point pro set scoring.
Wilkes finishes off its three-match home stretch tomorrow (Sunday) hosting Lebanon Valley College at 12:00 p.m. at TK Academy.
