MADISON, N.J. – The Wilkes women's softball team were bested in both games of a non-conference road doubleheader at FDU-Florham on Tuesday afternoon, falling 6-5 in game one and 3-1 in game two.
Following the sweep, the Colonels fall to 8-6 overall on the year, while FDU improve to 9-8.

Kayla Burleson (West Chester, PA/B. Reed Henderson) then came in to pinch hit and loaded the bases for
Hana Cross (South Brunswick, NJ/South Brunswick), who singled through the left side to drive in two more runs and close the gap to 5-4.
The Devils added another run in the bottom of the fifth to make it 6-4, and the Colonels added one more in the seventh as DeMarco scored on a single by
Megan Marshall (Bel Air, MD/C. Milton Wright) but couldn't complete the comeback as FDU took game one of the day.
