KINGSTON, PA – The Wilkes University men's tennis team fell 7-2 against Drew University in Landmark Conference action Wednesday afternoon at TK Academy.
 
Wilkes dropped to 5-6 overall and 3-4 in league matches following the home loss.
 
Wilkes fell behind 2-1 after doubles play with the Colonels lone pairs win coming at No. 1 where Angelo Guzman (Port Jefferson Station, NY/Comsewogue) and Sebastian Sylvester (Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago/The College of Lady Fatima) recorded a 9-7 victory.
 
In singles play, Nathanial Rathe (Lincoln, NE/Lincoln Southeast) was the lone Wilkes winner at No. 2 taking a back-and-forth match 6-2, 4-6, 16-14.
 
Wilkes is back in Landmark action Saturday hosting Moravian University at 12:00 p.m. at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
