SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team finished in 10^th place at the Conquer the Island Invitational Thursday afternoon at the Shawnee Golf Course.
 
The Colonels shot a team score of 331, good for tenth place of 15 teams participating in the event. Moravian University took home first place with a score of 293 while Drew University finished second just three strokes behind the leader at 296.
 
Cole Jungwirth (Bloomington, MN/Thomas Jefferson) led Wilkes carding a 78 tied for 28^th overall. Trevor DuBoff (Stony Point, NY/North Rockland) followed shooting an 81 while Max Cocchi (Ludlow, MA/Tilton School) finished with an 85. Matthew Carlson (Delmar, NY/Albany Academy) (87) and Daniel Nau (Wake Forest, NC/Heritage) (94) rounded out the Colonel finishers.
 
Drew's Elliot Parker took home medalist honors with a four-under 68,
 
Wilkes will host the University of Scranton and King's College Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Huntsville Golf Club.
