IMMACULATA, PA – The Wilkes University women's tennis team took all three doubles flights before winning four of six singles matches on way to a 5-2 non-conference dual match victory over host Immaculata University on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The duo of Tea Amerise (Mountain Top, PA/Holy Redeemer) and Julia Spaeth (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg Area) took their No. 1 doubles match 8-3 before Isabel Schreffler (Downingtown, PA/Downingtown West) and Ava Vacula (Exeter, PA/Wyoming Area Secondary Center) won 8-4 at No. 2 pairs. The team of Karlee Yuscavage (Hanover Twp., PA/Hanover Area) and Sydney Farmer (Lacey Township, NJ/Lacey Township) closed out the doubles weep with an 8-4 win at No. 3.
 
Amerise was a 6-0, 4-6, 11-9 winner at NO. 1 singles in a thrilling match. Kensington Edmond (Mount Joy, PA/Donegal) claimed a straight set 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles. Schreffler won 4-6, 6-4, 10-6 at No. 4 and Farmer rounded out the singles winners for the Colonels with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 6.
 
Wilkes is back in action Saturday, September 28 with a dual match at home at the Ralston Athletic Complex starting at 4:00 p.m. on Homecoming Weekend.
