Wilkes Basketball to Face Moravian Wednesday Night
WILKES-BARRE - The Wilkes University men's and women's basketball teams are prepared to face Moravian this Wednesday, with the men hosting the Greyhounds and the women on the road. Both games will tip off at 7 p.m.
At halftime of the men's game, former Wilkes University men's basketball head coach Jerry Rickrode and standout player Dave Jannuzzi '01 will be honored for their induction into the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Hall of Fame.

Men's Preview
The Colonels are coming off another tough loss, falling 64-67 to Susquehanna on Saturday, but are looking for a win against the Greyhounds. The men are 11-4 overall and 5-3 in conference play.Â

Cayden Merrifield (Scranton, PA/West Scranton), who is 13th in the conference in scoring, follows behind Lesko, and is averaging 13.6 points per game. Lesko is second in the conference in rebounds with an average of 7.5 per game and Jack Argento (Hershey, PA/Hershey) sits in ninth with an average of 5.7 rebounds per game. Merrifield leads the team in assists and is third in the Landmark with an average of 4.3 assists per game. Nadia Evanosky (Dallas, PA/Dallas) follows with an average of 7.5 points per game. Evanosky and Matos also lead in rebounds, both with Evanosky at a 7.8 rebound average per game and Matos at 7.3, leaving them at fourth and seventh in the conference. Madison Robel (Middlesex, NJ/Middlesex) is tenth in the conference in blocked shots, averaging 0.7 per game, and Evanosky follows, also with an average of 0.7 blocks per game.
