Mackey-Woodson Named to First-Ever Walter Camp Foundation All-America Team

Donell Mackey-Woodson (Hartford, CT/Southington) has been named to the first-ever Division III All-America Team by the Walter Camp Football Foundation (WCFF), as announced by the foundation on Wednesday, January 8.
This is Mackey-Woodson's third All-America selection, being named to the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III Coaches' All-America Second Team and Associated Press All-American Second Team.
The Hartford, Conn. native finished 2024 snagging a Landmark Conference-best seven interceptions, the second most in Division III during the regular season. He broke up a further eight passes on the season, while also adding 44 total tackles and one for loss. Mackey-Woodson also had three pick-sixes on the year, including the game-winning return against St. John Fisher.
Mackey-Woodson was also named to the D3football.com All-Region 2 Third Team, and the All-Landmark Conference First Team. He was also named to the D3football.com Team of the Week once.
The Walter Camp Football Foundation is home to the oldest Division I All-American team, spanning 135 editions. For their first-ever Division III All-American team, the organization only selected a first team.
