SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team concluded play on day one of the 2025 Landmark Conference Fall Preview Saturday afternoon at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. Play was suspended at 6:20 p.m. due to darkness with several teams not finishing the first round.
 
The Colonels finished round one with a team score of 402.
 
Kyleen McCance (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area) shot a nine-over 81 for fifth place overall to lead the Colonels. Isabella Rebar (Eynon, Pa./Valley View) fired in a 104 followed by Haylee Bouchard (Sioux Lookout, ON/) who scored a 105. Madison Mendrzycki (Mountain Top, PA) finished with a 112 while Sydnee Macdonald (Olyphant, PA/Mid Valley) carded a 119.
 
Catholic was the top team finisher with a score of 334 while Susquehanna finished second at 338. Drew's Josephine Nguyen led all scorers with a round-low 78 (+6).
 
Round one will resume tomorrow morning with round two to begin at the conclusion of the first round.
