Wilkes Women's Lacrosse Drops Landmark Contest Against Susquehanna
EDWARDSVILLE – Visiting Susquehanna University raced out to a 13-1 halftime lead and never looked back on way to a 21-2 Landmark Conference victory over the Wilkes University women's lacrosse team on Saturday afternoon.
Wilkes fell to 0-12 overall and 0-6 in Landmark games following the home defeat. Susquehanna improved to 6-8 overall and evened its conference mark at 3-3.

Brooklyn Pedana (Pittston, PA/Pittston Area) scored unassisted for the Colonels to make it 5-1 River Hawks with 1:25 left in the first quarter.
Susquehanna went on to score seven unanswered goals on way to the 12-goal lead at the break.
Alexis Guttilla (Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph by-the-Sea) notched the Colonels final goal of the contest with an unassisted tally with 9:21 on the third quarter clock.
The River Hawks held a 46-13 shot advantage while claiming 20 draw controls to the Colonels five. Wilkes had its most successful game clearing the ball finishing 19-for-22.
Brooklynn Donia (Sewell, NJ/Washington Township) fnished with 15 saves in goal for Wilkes playing the first three quarters.
Rissa Brazeau (Timmins, ON) made two saves in the fourth frame.
Wilkes is back in action on Wednesday with another Landmark matchup against the University of Scranton at 7:00 p.m. at Schmidt Stadium.
