WASHINGTON, DC – Host Catholic University posted a 7-0 Landmark Conference sweep over the Wilkes University women's tennis team Sunday afternoon at Dowd Family Tennis Courts.
 
Wilkes dropped to 6-6 overall and 1-3 in Landmark matches. Catholic improved to 11-5 overall and 5-1 in league contests.
 
Catholic swept all three doubles flights on way to the 1-0 lead after doubles competition.
 
The Cardinals then took all six matches in straight sets in singles play to seal the conference win.
 
Wilkes is back on the court tomorrow (Monday) with a non-conference dual match against Baruch College starting at 3:00 p.m. at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
