TOWSON, MD – The Wilkes University women's golf team was picked in ninth place in the 2025 Landmark Conference Championship poll as announced by the conference office Friday afternoon.
 
The Colonels earned 26 total team points in the coaches' championship poll.
 
The Landmark Championship will take place on Saturday, April 26 through Sunday, April 27 at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. Admission to the Landmark Women's Golf Championship is free.
 
Last season Wilkes finished in fifth place at the championships posting a two-day score of 785.  The Colonels were led by standout Kyleen McCance (Hanover, PA/Hanover Area), who earned First Team All-Conference honors and was named Rookie of the Year after finishing third overall. McCance has been a consistent force again this season, boasting a 75.4 scoring average with eight top-five finishes, including seventh at the Landmark Fall Preview.
 
Wilkes finished its 2025 spring dual campaign with a 3-1 mark with victories over Goucher College, Kean University and King's College.
