Wilkes Softball Releases 2026 Schedule

WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University athletic department announced the 2026 Wilkes softball schedule on Monday as part of the week-long series featuring schedules for all spring sports.

The Colonels get set for a 32 game schedule with 14 being held at the Ralston Athletic Complex. Wilkes is led by Jackie Klahold in her seventh season as head coach for the Colonels. 

After finishing the 2025 campaign with an overall record of 17-15 and earning a fourth place spot in the Landmark Conference Tournament, the Colonels prepare for their upcoming season.

Wilkes opens its season with the annual trip to Myrtle Beach, SC for the Fastpitch Dreams Classic Tournament from February 28 - March 6 with opponents and game times to be determined. The Colonels return home for their home opener on March 19 against Immaculata before traveling to Bethlehem, PA to open Landmark play against Moravian on March 21. 

The Colonels host Penn State Harrisburg on March 24 and finish the month of March on the road for two doubleheaders against Drew University (March 28) and Widener University (March 30).

Wilkes opens April with a non-conference doubleheader at Lebanon Valley on April 1 then return to Ralston to host Elizabethtown (April 4) and Scranton (April 7). The navy and gold then travel to Haverford College on April 11 to face the Fords for the first time in program history. April 12 they face Misericordia for a home doubleheader. Wilkes then moves through Landmark play as they take on Lycoming (April 15) and Juniata (April 18).

Wilkes softball rounds out its season with three doubles on the road against Marywood University (April 19), King's College (April 22), and Catholic University (April 25) before hosting Susquehanna University on May 2, for the final match at the Ralston Athletic Complex.

Wilkes will continue to release its 2026 spring schedules with baseball on Friday.
