Wilkes Men's Lacrosse 2027 Schedule Release

WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's lacrosse team announced its schedule for the upcoming 2027 season on Wednesday.

The 2026 season saw Wilkes finish 5–12, the most wins in a season for the Colonels since 2022. The Colonels were a young team a season ago, and will look to improve with a year of experience under their belt under second-year head coach Jordan Drumheller.

Wilkes opens the season at Schmidt Stadium on Feb. 17 at 4:30 p.m. when it hosts Penn State Harrisburg. The Colonels then take a week off before taking a trip across Wilkes-Barre to face rival King's College on Feb. 24. Wilkes returns home for its final game of February on Feb. 27 against Marywood.

The navy and gold start off March with a home game against Arcadia on Mar. 3 at 7:00 p.m., before making a trip to Virginia over spring break to face Averett (Mar. 8) and Bridgewater (Mar. 10). Wilkes then returns to Pennsylvania for a contest at Misericordia on St. Patrick's Day before closing out non-conference play on Mar. 20 at home against McDaniel.

The Colonels commence Landmark Conference play in Baltimore on Mar. 26 against Goucher and close out the month of March on Mar. 31 at home against Drew. Wilkes stays at Schmidt Stadium on Apr. 3 against Elizabethtown. The Colonels play three of their next four games on the road, starting with a trip to Susquehanna on Apr. 7. Wilkes hosts Catholic on Apr. 10 before road games at the University of Scranton on Apr. 14 and Juniata on Apr. 17. The Colonels close out the 2027 season with a pair of home games against Lycoming on Apr. 21 and Moravian on Apr. 24.

The 2027 Landmark Conference Championship is slated to begin on May 1, with the final taking place on May 8.
