NEWTOWN, Pa. – Wilkes University men's ice hockey forward Easton Stafford (Broomfield, CO/Colorado Connections Academy) has been selected as the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.

This is Stafford's first weekly award of his career, and the first for the program this season.

Stafford started the season white hot for the Colonel offense, netting a hat trick in the team's 5-2 season-opening victory at Manhattanville. The junior added another goal in the team's loss to Cortland on Saturday, bringing his total to four goals on six shots through two games.

Stafford and the Colonels return to the ice on Friday, November 6 as they host Alvernia University to open MAC play. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
