Wilkes Men's Wrestling Set for Region II Championships

 
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University men's wrestling team is gearing up for the 2026 NCAA Division III Region II Championships hosted by Ithaca College Friday and Saturday at Glazer Arena.

Ticketing Information
All spectators must purchase a ticket in order to gain access to Glazer Arena. There will only be single day sales for this event, no "All-Session" passes are available.
$10 - Adults
$5 - Senior Citizens/Students
Free - Children Two-and-Under

Parking
Nearest passenger vehicle parking is in M Lot, adjacent to the Athletics & Events Center. Fans are encouraged to arrive early in order to secure convenient parking, as there will be several events occurring simultaneously to the Regional Championships throughout the weekend. The Colonels join 19 other schools at the regional event including Alfred State, Centenary, Elmira, Ithaca, Kean, Keystone, Lycoming, New Jersey City, Penn State Behrend, Penn College, RIT, St. John Fisher, Stevens, Brockport State, Cortland State, Oneonta State, Oswego State, Pitt-Bradford and Hunter.
 
Wilkes will send ten wrestlers to the regional including three ranked in the top-seven in their respective weight class.
 
Jaryn Hartranft (Catasauqua, PA/Catasauqua) looks poised to make a run at a second NCAA qualification at 157-pounds. He owns a 33-8 overall mark this season reaching the 100-win plateau in his last bout of the regular season. Hartranft enters the tournament ranked fourth in the region with 25 of his 33 wins coming with extra points. The senior finished second at the regional as a sophomore in 2024 earning his first trip to the NCAA Tournament.
 
Ryan Santiago (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) enters the tournament ranked sixth in the region at 141-pounds. He owns a 20-5 overall record this season with 12 of those wins coming with extra points. Santiago finished sixth last season at the regional and will look to secure his first NCAA qualification as a junior.
 
First-year Ashton Romberger (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg) is the final Colonel ranked in the region sitting seventh at 141-pounds. Romberger owns a 17-11 mark through his first season on the mat recording 12 extra point wins.
