TCNJ Posts 7-0 Sweep Over Wilkes Men's Tennis
EDWARDSVILLE – Visiting The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) swept all three doubles flights before winning all six singles matches on way to a 7-0 sweep of the Wilkes University men's tennis team Friday afternoon at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
Wilkes dropped to 5-4 overall on the year while TCNJ improved to 9-4 on the season.
Wilkes best chance at a win in doubles was at No. 1 pairs as
Cole Riley (Louisville, KY/Xavier) and
Sebastian Sylvester (Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago/The College of Lady Fatima) fell 6-4 in their match.
TCNJ then swept all six singles flights in straight sets allowing just seven total points in those matches.
Wilkes is back in action Tuesday hosting Moravian University in a Landmark Conference match scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
