Wilkes Women's Ice Hockey Releases 2026-27 Schedule
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University athletic department has announced the 2026-27 season schedule for the women's ice hockey team, concluding a series of releases for all of Wilkes' winter athletic programs.

After reaching the NCAA Quarterfinals last season, the Colonels return to the ice for a 25-game slate featuring 13 games at the Toyota SportsPlex. Reigning Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Coach of the Year Dave Labaff leads the team in his fifth season as bench boss.
The Colonels begin the season with a five-game homestand, kicking off with MAC play against Alvernia on November 6, with puck drop scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The two-game series with the Golden Wolves concludes on Nov. 7, before the first non-conference game of the year hosting Elmira College on Nov. 10. The homestand concludes on Nov. 13-14, as the navy and gold host cross-town rival King's College at 3:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. respectively.
The first road trip of the year comes on Nov. 20-21, as the Colonels head to HersheyPark Arena for a pair of games against Lebanon Valley College, with game times to be determined. The calendar year closes with three home games, beginning with the second matchup of the year with Elmira on December 1 (3:00 p.m.) and a pair of games hosting Hood College on Dec. 5 and Dec. 6 (3:45 p.m. start for both games).
2027 begins with the final non-conference games of the year, as the Colonels travel to Vermont to compete in the Norwich Tournament. Wilkes will face Plattsburgh State on January 3 to open the tournament, with the consolation and championship games scheduled for Jan. 4. MAC play resumes on Jan. 8-9 with a pair of games at Stevenson University (times TBD) and continues with two more away games on Jan. 15-16 at Arcadia University in a rematch of the MAC Championship game. Wilkes then returns to the SportsPlex for the final weekend series of the season, with two games against Neumann University on Jan. 22-23.
The team then makes one final run through conference opposition, beginning with Stevenson at home on Jan. 29 and followed by Neumann on Jan. 30. The final home games of the regular season come on February 5-6, as the Colonels host Arcadia at 3:00 p.m. and Lebanon Valley at 3:45 p.m. respectively. Wilkes closes the season on the road with a trio of games against King's (Feb. 12), Alvernia (Feb. 13), and Hood (Feb. 19).
