WILKES-BARRE – Wilkes University Director of Athletics Scott Musa has been appointed to the NCAA Division III Management Council as announced by the association late last month.
 
Musa, who enters his fourth year leading the Wilkes Athletics Department, was selected to his first NCAA Management Council which began July 22, 2026 and continues through January 13, 2029.
 
"I am very excited about this opportunity to serve the Landmark and the rest of Division III," said Musa. "I have already heard from a number of members of the council and I am looking forward to working with them to help our student-athletes have the best possible collegiate athletic experience," he added.
 
Musa has served on three NCAA committees in the past: the Division III Women's Lacrosse Committee, the Women's Lacrosse Rules Committee and the Playing Rules Oversight Panel (PROP). He ended his term on the DIII Women's Lacrosse Championships Committee as chair, and was honored by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association with its President's Cup award for distinguished contribution to the sport of women's lacrosse.
