The result moves the Colonels to 0–7–1 and Arcadia to 3–3–3 on their seasons. The first 45 minutes saw both teams fly up and down the pitch. However, the Knights dominated the first half, taking 10 shots to the Colonels' none. Matthew Conti (Florence, NJ/Florence Township Memorial High School) stopped four Arcadia shots to keep it scoreless at the half. Arcadia continued to pressure the Colonels' defense but could not find the back of the net early in the second half, and Conti would finish the night with eight saves. The scoreless bout was finally broken in the 77th minute when Arcadia's Scott Jordan scored off a cross to give the Knights a 1–0 lead. The Colonels built chances down the stretch, including their first shot on goal by Bryce Hannings (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) in the 80th minute. The Colonels found their equalizer when an Arcadia defender booted a Wilkes cross into the goal to even the score at 1–1 with just under five minutes left, which would be the final score. Arcadia outshot Wilkes 19–2, including 9–1 on goal. The Knights also drew five corners compared to the Colonels two.
