SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Wilkes University women's soccer team and Susquehanna played 110 minutes and neither team could score as they settled for a 0-0 double overtime time tie.

The Lady Colonels controlled the tempo of the game by recording 11 shots and four on goal while holding the Crusaders to just four total shots and one on goal. Julissa Reed (Coal Township, Pa./Shamokin) had four total shots and two on goal to lead the way for Wilkes, while Brooke Edwards (Levittown, PA/Harry S. Truman) had three shots and one on goal. Lindsey Ellis and Jenna Sargent (Stroudsburg/Pocono Mountain East) both had two total shots while Sargent had one on goal.

Not only did the Lady Colonels control the game offensively, they also had eight corner kicks while Susquehanna was unable to attempt one.

Wilkes moved to 4-4-1 on the year, while it was the third tie for the Crusaders, who are now 2-5-3 on the season.
