ANNVILLE – Taryn Hallowell (Belvidere, NJ, Belvidere) recorded a hat trick as Wilkes University defeated Lebanon Valley College 3-1 in a non-conference women's soccer action on Thursday afternoon.

Hallowell scored her goals in the 23rd, 51st and 65th minutes, giving the Lady Colonels a 3-0 cushion with 25 minutes left in the game. Seneca Tucker (Fogelsville, Northwestern Lehigh), Jenna Sargent (Stroudsburg, Pocono Mountain East) and Maura Kelly (Hummelstown, Lower Dauphin) assisted on the goals, respectively.

Lebanon Valley got on the board in the 82nd minute with a goal from Brittany Flood. Samantha Rohn (Levittown, Neshaminy) started and went 73 minutes in goal for Wilkes, making seven saves.

The Lady Colonels (3-3) return to the pitch tomorrow evening when they play Widener at PPL Park in Chester. The game is a part of a doubleheader for Widener at the home of the Philadelphia Union. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
