CHESTER - Wilkes University fell to Widener University 1-0 in a non-conference women's soccer game played at PPL Park, home of the Philadelphia Union. The game was played in front of 1,000 fans. 

Widener (6-1) got on the board in the 66th minute on a goal by Victoria Batter. Wilkes got shots from Jenna Sargent (Stroudsburg/Pocono Mountain East) and Taryn Hallowell (Belvidere, NJ/Belvidere). Samantha Rohn (Levittown/Neshaminy) posted one save in goal for Wilkes. 

The Lady Colonels (3-4) travel to Centenary next Tuesday for their next game. Start time is set for 4:00 p.m.
