WILKES MEN'S TENNIS FALLS 8-1 AT BLOOMSBURG

BLOOMSBURG, PA – Host Bloomsburg University captured all three doubles flights then posted wins in five of six singles matches to post an 8-1 win over Wilkes University Tuesday afternoon.

Wilkes drops to 4-2 overall while Bloomsburg improves to 7-2 on the year.

The Division II Huskies swept doubles play to take a 3-0 lead heading into singles play. Wilkes' Alex Makos (Mansfield, PA/Mansfield) was the Colonels lone winner at No. 2 singles posting a 6-3, 6-0 win over Jeff Nuhfer.

Wilkes will return to action Sunday when the Colonels host Elizabethtown College at 11:00 a.m. at the Ralston Athletics Complex.
