The Pacers took game one 1-0 before Wilkes captured a 7-6 victory in the nightcap. Wilkes concludes the 2012 season with an 11-25 overall record. In a pitching duel in game one, Marywood scored the games' only run in the fourth. Mariah Runco was hit by a pitch to start the frame and later scored when Allie Stine singled to center field. Stine held the Lady Colonels to five hits to record the complete game shutout victory throwing all seven innings. Mandy Seccia (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) accounted for two of the five Wilkes hits in game one. Laykin Hughes (Minersville, PA/Pottsville) started in the circle going four innings scattering three hits allowing the one run while striking out seven. Wilkes grabbed a 2-1 lead in game two after four innings of play. Jordan Borger (Kunkletown, PA/Pleasant Valley) connected on an RBI double scoring Seccia who singled earlier in the inning. Borger then homered to right-center to push the lead to 2-0 after two. After Marywood scored once in the third to cut the lead to 2-1, Wilkes answered with three runs in fifth and one in the sixth to take a 7-1 lead to the seventh. Maura Santarelli (Archbald, PA/Valley View) keyed the three-run fifth with a two-run single to center field. Seccia added an RBI double in the sixth. Marywood began its rally attempt in the seventh scoring five runs to cut the Wilkes advantage to 7-6. Alysha Bixler (Williamstown, PA/Williams Valley) entered the circle in relief of starter Heather Compton (Easton, PA/Easton) to shut the door on the Pacers comeback attempt striking out Marywood's final batter with the tying run on first base. Seccia led the offense in game two going 2-for-3 with an RBI. Borger finished 2-for-3 with two RBI's including her fifth homer of the season, while Emily McGrath (Upper Darby, PA/Drexel Hill) added two hits.
