Wilkes slips to 3-2 overall on the year while Lebanon Valley improves to 3-2. It marked a battle of regionally ranked squads as Wilkes enter the contest at No. 9 while the Dutchmen came in at No. 8. The teams played scoreless through almost 89 minutes when Douglas took a cross from Sarah Wannlund and beat Lady Colonels' keeper Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH/Central Catholic). Wilkes had several opportunities throughout the contest at goal, but Lebanon Valley's Becca Sykes was up to the task each time preserving the 1-0 shutout with five saves on the afternoon. The Dutchmen held a 17-8 shot advantage while Wilkes garnered the only corner kick attempt between the teams. Hayley Kay (Danville, PA/Danville) started in new for Wilkes finishing with two saves before being replaced by Mahoney who made four stops in 45 minutes in net.
