With the win the Lady Colonels improve to 5-2-1 and Daeman College falls to 3-4 on the season. The Lady Colonels got things started at the 1:52 mark in the first half as Katie Hughes (New Tripoli, PA/Northwestern Lehigh) took the ball down the left sideline, maneuvered around two Wildcat defenders and placed the ball in net as her shot grazed off the goalkeeper's fingertips. Their second goal was off an assist from Katy Fissel (Madison, NJ/Madison) who passed the ball to Ashley Graham (New Hampton, NY/Minisink Valley), who regained control of the ball and crossed it to the middle of the field to Priscilla Bonilla (Fairless Hills, PA/The Pennington School). Bonilla set herself and shot the ball in the upper right corner of the net. The second half, the Lady Colonels kept much of the same mindset—attack and attack often. Courtney Krasnomowitz (Hamburg, NJ/Wallkill Valley) passed the ball through the middle of the field and found Ashley Graham (New Hampton, NY/Minisink Valley) who placed the ball in net. Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH/Central Catholic) had three saves for the Lady Colonels and Kayla Hampton snagged seven saves for the Wildcats.
