Wilkes improves to 7-2-1 overall and 1-0 in Freedom play. DVC drops to 2-7 overall and 0-1 in league games. Katy Fissel (Madison, NJ/Madison) gave Wilkes a 1-0 lead when she converted a penalty shot at the 65:26 mark. Just three minutes later, Alicia Roberts (Hatboro, PA/Upper Moreland) cashed in to make it 2-0 finding the back of the net off an assist from Priscilla Bonilla (Fairless Hills, PA/The Pennington School). From there, Megan Binder (North Babylon, NY/North Babylon ) recorded her first collegiate goal at the 83:26 mark to seal the Freedom Conference shutout victory. Rookie goalkeeper Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH/Central Catholic) posted her fourth shutout on the season finishing with two saves. Julie Burnell, who was under fire for most of the game as Wilkes continued constant offensive pressure, made 15 stops for DVC.
