WILKES WOMEN'S SOCCER GAME AT BBC ENDS EARLY DUE TO WEATHER

CLARKS SUMMITT, PA – The Wilkes University women's soccer team stormed out to a 4-0 lead at the half at Baptist Bible College, but the weather reared its ugly head forcing the final 45 minutes to be called off.

The game will not count in the win/loss category along with any stats accumulated in the contest. Heavy rain, lighting, and strong winds moved through Northeastern Pennsylvania causing the rest of the contest to be cancelled. Per NCAA rules, the match must reach the 70 minute mark for it to be considered a completed contest.

Wilkes has a quick turnaround hosting Dickinson College (3-0) tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
