WILKES MEN'S TENNIS CRUISES PAST MISERICORDIA, 9-0

DALLAS, PA – The defending Freedom Champion Wilkes men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win at Misericordia University Wednesday afternoon in league action.

With the win Wilkes moves to 9-2 overall and remains perfect at 4-0 in Freedom matches. Misericordia drops to 2-14 overall and 0-4 in league play.

After claiming all three doubles flights allowing just three games, the Colonels swept all six singles matches in straight sets. Steven Wilson (Bronx, NY/JFK) (No. 1), Alex Makos (Mansfield, PA/Mansfield) (No. 2), Connor Peckham (Warminster, PA/Central Bucks East) (No. 4), and Trey Fidler (Myerstown, PA/ELCO) (No. 6) each recorded 6-0, 6-0 victories.

Wilkes returns to action Friday hosting cross-town rival King's College at 3:30 p.m. at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
