WILKES TENNIS TEAMS TO HOST FREEDOM CHAMPIONSHIPS
EDWARDSVILLE – The Wilkes University men's and women's tennis teams will host the Freedom Conference Championships Saturday at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
The top seeded Lady Colonels will host third seeded Misericordia at 11:00 a.m. The Lady Colonels advanced to the championship round with a 5-0 sweep of Stevenson. The Lady Cougars defeated King's 5-1.
The top seeded Colonels will host second seeded King's at 2:00 p.m. Wilkes advanced to the championship round with a 5-0 sweep of Arcadia. The Monarchs enter the championship after beating FDU-Florham 5-0.
The Wilkes University women's tennis team is striving for their seventh straight Freedom Conference title while the men are looking for their sixth straight Freedom Conference championship. Below is a flight by flight preview of both matches
