WILKES MEN'S TENNIS CRUISES TO A PAIR OF WINS OVER LYCOMING AND SCRANTON
EDWARDSVILLE – The Wilkes University men's tennis team cruised to a pair of 9-0 victories over the University of Scranton and Lycoming College Saturday afternoon at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
Wilkes moves to 2-0 overall following the pair of wins.
Wilkes dropped just one set in singles play against Scranton as five different Colonels registered straight set wins (No. 2 through 6).
In the match against Lycoming, Wilkes only surrendered three games in singles play and three in doubles play through the nine matches.
Wilkes returns to the court September 27th when the Colonels compete at the University of Scranton Invitational.
