WILKES VOLLEYBALL REMAINS UNBEATEN IN FREEDOM PLAY WITH 3-0 WIN AT MVILLE

PURCHASE, NY – Casey Bohan (Harding/Wyoming Area) and Ally Paskas (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) combined for 21 kills to lead visiting Wilkes University to a 3-0 blanking of Manhattanville College Tuesday night.

Wilkes moves to 5-7 overall and remains unbeaten at 2-0 in Freedom matches. Manhattanville drops to 11-6 on the year, 0-2 in league contests.

Wilkes held on for a 26-24 win in set one before cruising to a 25-18 win in set two and 25-17 victory in the clinching third frame.

Bohan finished with a team-high 11 kills and two block assists, while Paskas contributed 10 kills and 13 digs in three sets. Megan Powers (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) led the passing game with 34 assists, while Marissa Mallory (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush), playing her first complete match as libero, finished with a match-high 28 digs.

Wilkes returns to the court Friday traveling to La Plume, Pa. to compete in the Keystone College Invitational.
