WILKES WOMEN'S GOLF RECORDS FIRST PROGRAM WIN IN 456-473 DECISION OVER ARCADIA

WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team made history on Sunday posting the program's first victory with a 456-473 decision over visiting Arcadia University at the Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Course.

Alivia Behfeldt took home medalist honors carding a match-low 88 on the Par 72 course. Sara Hagenbach (Hunlock Creek, PA/Lake Lehman) finished second with a 99, while Christy Taylor (Carlstad, NJ/Lenape Valley) (122) and Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH /Central Catholic) (147) rounded out the Lady Colonel scorers.

Lauren Potcher led Arcadia posting a 102.

Wilkes concludes the fall season next Saturday competing in the MAC Invitational.
