WILKES WOMEN'S GOLF IN FOURTH PLACE AFTER DAY ONE OF ECAC INVITATIONAL

HARRISBURG, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team concluded day one of the ECAC Invitational Championship in fourth place. Wilkes shot a combined 506 in the first round of the event.

Alivia Behnfeldt (Fremont, IN/Fremont) topped the Lady Colonel participants carding a 104. Sara Hagenbach (Hunlock Creek, PA/Lake Lehman) followed with a 117 while Christy Taylor (Carlstad, NJ/Lenape Valley) (135) and Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH /Central Catholic) (150) rounded out the Wilkes scorers at the event.

Stevenson University stands in first place after day one shooting a combined 362. Alvernia University follows in second with a 387 while Lebanon Valley finished third at 413.

Day two action begins Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
