WILKES WOMEN'S GOLF FINISHES 4^TH AT ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

HARRISBURG, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team finished fourth at the ECAC Championships Sunday afternoon at the Colonial Golf Club.

The Lady Colonels finished with a 506 at the event for fourth place. Stevenson University claimed the top spot shooting a combined 362. Alvernia University followed in second with a 387 while Lebanon Valley notched third place at 413.

Alivia Behnfeldt (Fremont, IN/Fremont) topped the Wilkes finishers carding a 96 in round two. Behnfeldt's combined 200 was good for eighth place overall in individual finishers at the event.

Sara Hagenbach (Hunlock Creek, PA/Lake Lehman) followed shooting a 108 in the second round and a two-day total of 225 for 14^th place overall. Christy Taylor (Carlstad, NJ/Lenape Valley) and Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH /Central Catholic) rounded out the Wilkes finishers with two day totals of 264 and 296 respectively.

Wilkes concludes its first fall season as a program and will return to action this spring competing in the Freedom Conference.
