Both Wilkes tennis teams posted 9-0 wins over Marywood Monday on senior day

WILKES MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TENNIS UPEND MARYWOOD ON SENIOR DAY

EDWARDSVILLE – The Wilkes University men's and women's tennis teams concluded its regular season home schedule with a pair of 9-0 wins Monday after on senior day at the Ralston Athletic Complex.

Wilkes men move to 15-1 overall while the Lady Colonels improve to 15-2 overall on the season.

Both the men's and women's quads went 3-0 in doubles play before posting a sweep of all six singles flights in straight set fashion in their respective matches.

Both squads return to the courts Saturday traveling to Bloomsburg University for matches starting at 1:00 p.m. The Freedom Conference tournament starts next week where both Wilkes squad have clinched No. 1 seeds and will host semifinal and final rounds.
