The Invitational is setup as a non-scoring team event. Max Appello (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) moved onto the semifinals of flight one scoring a 6-1, 6-1 win in the quarterfinals against Pete Putira of Rutgers-Camden. Michael Kranz (Depew, NY/Lancaster Central) and Adam Lefkandinos (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) each moved onto the semifinals of flight 3/4 with wins in the quarterfinals. Kranz earned a 6-1, 6-1 win while Lefkandinos claimed a 6-4, 7-5 win. In the 5/6 flight, Troy Haas (Huntington Station, NY/Walt Whitman) posted a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Matthew Bahar of Oneonta to move onto the semifinals. Brian Murray (Brooklyn, NY/Leon M. Goldstein) and Andrew Neidig (Matamoras, PA/Delaware Valley) both moved into semifinal play with wins in the round of 16 and quarterfinals in straight sets. Three sets of Wilkes doubles pairs moved onto the finals in their respective flights with semifinal victories. Dominic and Jacob Parfianowicz (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy) earned an 8-0 win in flight 1, Brendon Blachowski (Newtown, PA /Council Rock North) and Kranz went 8-5 in flight 2, while Appello/Haas and Steven Wilson (Bronx, NY/JFK)/Lefkandinos will face each other in the finals in flight 3.
