WILKES WOMEN'S GOLFERS FINISH 6^TH AT SUSQUEHANNA FALL INVITATIONAL

HUMMELS WHARF, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team finished sixth overall of seven teams at the Susquehanna University Fall Invitational held at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club Saturday afternoon.

As a team, Wilkes shot a combined 452 finishing sixth overall of the seven team invitational. Gettysburg College claimed the top spot shooting a 344 while Dickinson College finished second with a 386 score.

Alivia Behnfeldt (Fremont, IN/Fremont) led the Lady Colonel scorers shooting a 94 for seventh overall. Sara Hagenbach (Hunlock Creek, PA/Lake Lehman) carded a 110 while Catherine Carney (Temecula, CA/Temecula Valley) (116) and Christy Taylor (Carlstad, NJ/Lenape Valley) (132) rounded out the Wilkes scorers at the event.

Wilkes returns to the course October 6 when they compete against Misericordia University in a dual match at the Irem Country Club at 1:00 p.m.
