The Lady Colonels are mathematically out of the postseason picture with two games left to play. Wilkes fell 93-48 at FDU-Florham in the teams' first meeting this season. Elena Stambone (Jessup, PA/Valley View) tops the Wilkes offense averaging 17.1 points and 3.1 rebounds. Stambone remains 59 points shy of the school's all-time scoring mark currently with 1,612 points (third place all-time). With 46 more points Stambone would move into sole possession of second place all-time in scoring at Wilkes. Chelsea Brown (Garnet Valley, PA/Garnet Valley) follows with 9.9 points and a team-high 8.0 rebounds while Cara Basile (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) adds 8.6 points and 5.4 rebounds. Wilkes averages 62.2 points per-game while allowing 65.8 points per contest. FDU-Florham women enter the game as the No. 4 ranked team in all of Division III owning a 22-1 overall record and an 11-1 mark in conference games. The Devils are the reigning Division III National Champion going a perfect 33-0 last season on way to the title. FDU-Florham posted a comfortable 82-53 win over DeSales on Saturday in its last contest. Five Devils average double figures in scoring for a balanced attack. Shalette Brown leads the team averaging 13.8 points and 10.5 rebounds. Kyra Dayon adds 12.2 points while sister Kara Dayon chips in with 10.7 points and 41 three-pointers. FDU-Florham leads the Freedom Conference averaging 85.4 points per-game while yielding 60.4 points per contest. The Colonel men remain in the thick of the postseason rush with two games left to play. Wilkes owns an 11-12 overall record but more importantly stand 6-6 in Freedom games, just one game behind fourth place King's for the final playoff spot in next week's Freedom Conference Tournament. Wilkes picked up an important home win against already playoff bound Delaware Valley on Saturday 78-75. Wilkes posted an 86-75 victory over the Devils in Madison, NJ earlier this season in the teams' first meeting. Alec Wizar (Lebanon, PA/Annville Cleona) leads the team averaging 14.4 points on 64 made three-pointers. Steve Stravinski (Pittston, PA/Pittston) follows with 14.2 points and a team-high 67 three-pointers made. Zachary Brunner (Mechanicsburg, PA/Mechanicsburg) and Tyler Jackson (Cresskill, NJ/Cresskill) add 11.0 points and 10.5 points per-game respectively. Wilkes averages 72.3 points per-game while giving up 71.5 points a contest. FDU-Florham men stand 2-21 overall and 1-11 in league games looking to play spoiler to the Colonels postseason hopes tonight. FDU-Florham recorded an upset win at home against DeSales on Saturay 70-58. Kevin Furlong tops the squad with 13.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
