HERSHEY, PA – The Wilkes University women's golf team finished in ninth place after day one at the 2016 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships .
 
The Lady Colonels shot a combined 576 on the day in round one. Stevenson led all schools shooting a 379 while Lebanon Valley followed in second place with at 385.
 
Alexa Flood (Moscow, PA/North Pocono) led all Wilkes scorers in round one shooting a 125. Christy Taylor (Carlstad, NJ/Lenape Valley) finished with a 129 while Kate Mahoney (Kingston, NH/Central Catholic) (152) and Elizabeth Reyes (Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) (170) rounded out the Lady Colonel finishers.
 
Day two of the championships begins at 8:00 a.m. on Monday.
