MOOSIC, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team finished in 10^th place through round one of the 2017 Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational on Sunday afternoon held at the Glenmaura National Golf Club.
 
Wilkes finished with a team score of 352 on the Par 71 course. McDaniel topped the squads through round one action shooting a combined 306. Rosemont followed in second place carding a team score of 309 while Goucher finished third with a 312.
 
Alex Anderson (Bear Creek, PA/Coughlin) led all Colonel scorers with an 84 tied for 29^th in round one action. Sean McNamara followed with an 86 for 35^th place. Corey Cowitch (Northampton, PA/Northampton Area) and Chris Nixon both carded a 91 while Nathan Hunter (Elysburg, PA/Southern Columbia) rounded out the Wilkes competitors with a 97.
 
Second round action begins tomorrow (Monday) at 9:00 a.m.
