MOOSIC, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team concluded play at the 2018 Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational taking 10^th place out of 12 teams at the event.
 
Wilkes finished with a combined two-day team score of 705 shooting 352 in round one and 353 in round two. McDaniel College took home first place with a team score of 591 while Rosemont followed in second at 616.
 
Alex Anderson (Bear Creek, PA/Coughlin) led all Wilkes scorers shooting an 89 in round two finishing with a two-day total of 173 for 43^rd place. Corey Cowitch (Northampton, PA/Northampton Area) carded a team-low 85 in round two finishing 45^th with a total score of 176. Sean McNamara (177) and Chris Nixon (179) rounded out the Colonel participants at the event.
 
Brandon Vance earned medalist honors carding a 146 (73/72) on the Par 71 course.
 
Wilkes concludes its 2018 spring season competing at the 2018 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships Saturday and Sunday at the Hershey Country Club.
