HERSHEY, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team finished in sixth place at the 2018 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships Sunday afternoon held at the Hershey Country Club.
 
Wilkes finished with 737 total team points carding a combined score of 369 in round two play.
 
Corey Cowitch (Northampton, PA/Northampton Area) topped all Colonel finishers carding an 89 on day two and a 178 for the championships for 22^nd place. Sean McNamara followed with a 90 on day two and 180 total for 24^th place. Michael Malshefski (Nanticoke, PA/Nanticoke) (188/32^nd) and Corey Hauser (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Coughlin) (191/34^th) rounded out the Wilkes competitors at the championship event.
 
Manhattanville College won the team title carding a combined 662. King's College was three strokes behind settling for second place with a score of 665.
